There will be no strike: King has agreed on new working conditions
A week ago, employees of King's Swedish offices threatened to strike if the management didn't agree to sign what's known as a collective agreement—a document that regulates many work-related nuances in the company. The threat proved to be effective.

The parties signed the agreement just a few hours before the action planned for today, September 25th. This effectively concluded negotiations that had lasted for over a year.
The details of the collective agreement have not been disclosed. However, it is known that developers of Candy Crush will at least receive "timely" information about impending layoffs. Given that King is part of Microsoft, which has been regularly reducing its staff lately, this information is not unwelcome.
Previously, King President Todd Green called the collective agreement unnecessary for two reasons. First, the company's management considers the existing employment conditions and benefits in King more advantageous for employees. Second, signing the document in Sweden would require King to change processes in other countries where it has offices. Whether King now plans to formalize similar agreements with other employees is unknown.
