tinyBuild Company released its financial report for the first six months of 2026. In the document, it boasted of earning more than initially anticipated.
SAND: Raiders of Sophie
- tinyBuild's half-year revenue reached $20 million, which is 18% more than the same period in 2025.
- Almost all the money—$19.1 million—was directly from games. Another $0.9 million was generated by game development events.
- Franchises owned by tinyBuild were responsible for 85% of the gaming revenue. Their share remained unchanged compared to the previous year.
- tinyBuild separately calculated the revenue from new releases and the back catalog. It turned out that 32% of gaming income—$6.1 million—came from releases in 2026. In comparison, in the first half of 2025, all the money was earned by older games.
- tinyBuild is especially pleased with the launch of the multiplayer action game SAND: Raiders of Sophie, which went into early access on June 22. It marked the best launch in the company's history. Other successful new titles include Hozy and All Will Fall.
- Among notable releases, tinyBuild mentioned ReStory: Chill Electronics Repairs along with the brand new Graveyard Keeper 2, but both games were released in the second half of 2026. The company did not share any data on them.
- Currently, tinyBuild and its partner teams are working on more than 30 new games. The publisher categorizes some of them as "high-budget," with development costs exceeding $5 million.
- Although tinyBuild's revenue showed growth, its gross profit slightly decreased—from $10.4 million to $9.8 million. As the company explained, this was due to increased royalty payments to third-party developers whose games sold well.
