74% of the August submission requests for publication in "Yandex Games" were rejected
Developers have become increasingly interested in "Yandex Games." In August alone, the platform's moderators reviewed 17,100 submission requests for projects, but only a quarter received the "green light."
To grasp the scale, let's recall that in 2025 the median number of submissions to "Yandex Games" stood at 5,000 per month. It is suggested that the surge is largely linked to the popularity of vibe coding—programming with the help of artificial intelligence. This has simplified development, resulting in more titles being released. However, judging by the number of rejected submissions, not all meet the "Yandex Games" standards.
According to calculations by "Yandex Games," the rejection rate is particularly high among developers attempting to release something on the platform for the first time. In August, such teams submitted 13,900 requests and were rejected 86% of the time.
Currently, "Yandex Games" is actively enhancing moderation on the platform in an effort to process the numerous submissions more quickly. This is being achieved in part through automation of processes.
“Recently, we have almost cleared the manual moderation queue. Now, half of the games receive a result in about 3 days, and 95% within 7 days,” writes "Yandex Games."
Note: One submission does not equal one game. Developers often send requests several times, making changes to projects based on moderators' comments.
