Draw Something has gained 50 million downloads in 50 days
Apparently, having given $ 180 million for OMGPOP, Zynga will soon have to fork out another $30 million bonus to the company’s employees.
Today it became known that the game Draw Something has surpassed the mark of 50 million total installations on Facebook, iOS and Android platforms.
“We are confident that Draw Something is not only the fastest-growing game of all time, but also the fastest-growing web application that anyone has ever seen,” Zynga representatives said pathetically.
By the way, the game has already pushed Angry Birds Space from the first place in the American top of the highest-grossing applications.
So Simon Khalaf, the president of Flurry, was right when he claimed that OMGPOP had become significantly cheaper by giving itself into the hands of Zynga at the end of last March.
Well, in the end, a little dry statistics about Draw Something:
– users have made more than 6 billion drawings- at the time of launching the game , 3 drawings per second were drawn in it
– at peak, Draw Something draws 3000 drawings per second
– most popular words: Starfish, pregnant, Hangman, six pack and boom box
– least used word: latrine
