Lego Digital Play has taken over the UK-based mobile studio, Offroad Games. This team, consisting of former Space Ape Games developers, shared the announcement through LinkedIn, referring to it as a "remarkably exciting new chapter" in their journey. Although financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, no information has been shared regarding the future operational strategy within Lego Digital Play.

Offroad Games expressed gratitude towards their staff and supporters who were instrumental in their spinout. Officially established in March 2025 following a separation from Space Ape Games, the studio acknowledged those who backed their vision. They mentioned their hard work over the past 19 months in creating a game studio geared toward innovating in the mobile gaming sector. They conveyed their excitement about becoming part of Lego Digital Play and extended heartfelt thanks to their team members and supporters.
