The business segment will include representatives from 25 nations or regions, showcasing pavilions from Austria, Germany, the Philippines, South Korea, Spain, and Thailand.

Main activities include pitch and reverse pitching contests, with Xsolla backing the 'Invest Circle and VIP XPerience,' facilitating networking between developers, publishers, and investors.

Over 70 speakers from more than 20 countries will take to the stage in the business section.

John Romero, co-founder of Id Software, is set to present a keynote themed "Why We Still Make Games" and will accept the lifetime achievement award this year.

Koelnmesse, Show No Limit, and Online Station are organizing the 2026 Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show.

Koelnmesse's Asia-Pacific General Manager, Prakash Ramajillu, stated that this year, there's a greater focus on globalization. Efforts include bringing major global gaming brands into the entertainment section and expanding the business section with more country pavilions and networking opportunities, alongside enhanced support for indie developers via the indie area and the Thailand Pavilion.

Pongsuk Hiranprueck, CEO of Show No Limit, remarked on the success of last year's event, with over 200,000 attendees, affirming Thailand's role as a significant cultural and creative economy driver in Asia.

This year's convention is scheduled at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand, running from October 29 to November 1, 2026.

The business segment will be accessible to industry professionals and media from October 29 to 30.
