"Lesta Games" will be sold to an "interested investor" in the fall of 2026
In an interview with our colleagues at RBC, Alexey Moiseev, Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation, made this announcement. No specific details were disclosed.
“We plan to sell 'Lesta' this year. It will be a direct sale to an interested investor. (...) I hope that we will quickly overcome the legal technicalities and finalize the deal in September-October,” Moiseev explained.
According to him, the valuation of the asset is "very high." He is also satisfied with the asset's level of management.
“Special measures regarding salary have even been taken to maintain a market level and retain specialists. Management knows what they are doing,” Moiseev added.
For reference, earlier this year, Forbes valued the company at $1.6 billion, ranking it 12th on the list of the most expensive companies in RuNet.
The revenue of one of the legal entities of the Lesta Games group — LLC “Lesta Games Agency” — amounted to 29 billion rubles last year.
