About the Team
We have been developing games since around 2018. The team currently consists of five people, though primarily three worked on this project. We have no funding. Everyone is trying to survive with other jobs while simultaneously working on games. Our previous project was Beyond The Darkness.
About the Project
A psychological horror game where a detective with dementia and schizophrenia tries to solve his last case. When we started, we aimed to create a horror game not focused on jump scares but one that evokes fear through atmosphere and what might realistically happen to a person with such illnesses. We are using Unreal Engine 5. There is a Steam page and a completed demo. Much still needs to be developed.
About Gameplay/Mechanics
You play as a detective who visits crime scenes and then tries to investigate in his office to find a serial killer, all while entering locations from his subconscious.
Project Description
You are Jeff Dowliff, a detective whose memory is gradually deteriorating.
Your mission is to find the serial killer before your mind breaks down.
Investigate murders using:
- newspapers;
- Polaroid photos;
- clue boards;
- handwritten notes.
But reality itself becomes untrustworthy: doors lead back to your apartment, TVs speak to you directly, and a blink can completely change the setting.
Target Audience
We are targeting those who enjoy immersing themselves in atmosphere-rich experiences. Similar projects in spirit include Layers of Fear, Observer, Soma.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for an investor, with a budget of 5 million rubles for a one-year development period. The funds will be strictly allocated to development.
