A new Rovio game has been released
A small but extremely important piece of news marked “urgent”. Today, a game has been released, about which, most likely, we will write more than once, sharing its record downloads and, accordingly, sales – Angry Birds Space.
Rovio Entertainment today announced the launch of its new app simultaneously on four platforms: iOS, Android, Mac and PC. Moreover, the company has also started selling products related to the game: toys, cartoons and books under the Angry Birds Space brand.
The key difference between the sequel and the original series is the new physical conditions, namely weightlessness. When shooting birds, the player is now obliged to take into account the absence of gravity or its presence near planets and asteroids. However, the basic mechanics remained the same: the user shoots birds with a slingshot at pigs.
Angry Birds Space consists of 60 levels. Regular free updates are also planned. However, it was not without the now fashionable micropayments (however, so far only for iOS users). The game also has hidden levels and new birds with new features.
In the App Store, the iPhone version of the game will cost $0.99 (the same amount Rovio asks for levels in new game locations), and the iPad version will cost $2.99. By the way, the game supports a high resolution Retina display.
Android owners were a little more lucky: a free version of the game is already available to them, however, spoiled by advertising. To disable it, they need to spend $0.99. They can purchase the high-resolution version for $2.99.
