The co-authors of Borderlands 4 and Avowed have invested in the development of a co-op office work simulator
The gaming outsourcer Enduring Games, which has contributed to Borderlands 4, Avowed, the remake of Demon’s Souls, and many other titles, has decided to support its colleagues at the FarBridge studio. It allocated funds to them for the creation of Job Simulator: Human Relations.

Interestingly, FarBridge initially planned to fund the game through fundraising: on August 11, the studio even launched a special campaign on Kickstarter. However, thanks to funding from Enduring Games, this necessity has been eliminated, and now the developers intend to refund the backers who had already invested.
The amount FarBridge received from Enduring Games has not been disclosed. But on Kickstarter, they set a goal of $150,000.
In an interview with GamesBeat, FarBridge CEO Patrick Curry revealed that the leaders of both companies have been acquainted for a long time and often meet at business events. At one of the latest meetings, he reached an agreement with the head of Enduring Games, Adam Creighton, about the funding.
“I believe this deal is one of the clearest examples of the principle: ‘Ask for money and you’ll get advice, ask for advice and you’ll get money,’” Curry admitted.
Job Simulator: Human Relations is a spinoff of the VR game Job Simulator by Owlchemy Labs. It is a friend-slop simulator where gamers play as office robot employees and try to manage the constant chaos at the workplace. The release date for the project has not yet been disclosed.
