The number of accounts on VK Play increased by 10 million over the past year
The VK Group also reported for April-June 2026. As usual, their report shared little data regarding the gaming segment, but it did include some numbers related to the VK Play store.
Specifically, VK stated that:
- by the end of the second quarter of 2026, there were 64.1 million accounts registered on VK Play. A year ago at the same time, there were 54 million.
- the global monthly audience for VK Play averaged 16.7 million people from April to June 2026. Of these, 14.6 million were from Russia. Compared to the previous year, this represents an increase of 22% and 47.5%, respectively.
Additionally, the VK report reminded that after the second quarter had ended, it sold RuStore to Dmitry Pankrushev — the head of the app store development team. The transaction amount and terms were not disclosed.
Regarding the entire VK, the company increased its revenue by 17% to 43.5 billion rubles for the quarter, and its net profit reached 328 million rubles.
