In Russia, the number of gamers over the age of 55 has tripled in a year—at least among T2 subscribers
The mobile operator T2 reported this in its latest study.

As added by the company, now every second subscriber over the age of 55 plays games at least occasionally. This conclusion was reached after analyzing the traffic of approximately 2,000 games and gaming platforms. The total number of older gamers in the T2 network is not specified.
For comparison, below is the growth in the number of gamers of other ages over the past year:
- gamers under 18 years old — by 25%;
- gamers aged 18-24 years — by 35%;
- gamers aged 25-34 years — by 54%;
- gamers aged 35-44 years — by 54%;
- gamers aged 45-54 years — by 100%.
T2 also shared that, overall, there are approximately 20% more female gamers than male gamers among the company's Russian subscribers. However, they did not disclose the exact numbers.
