The game's developers announced the milestone of surpassing 20 million copies sold in the Meccha Chameleon news feed on Steam. They didn't make any lengthy statements on the occasion, simply thanking the audience for their support.
Here are the key sales milestones for Meccha Chameleon now:

- 5 million copies — in nine days;
- 10 million copies — in 16 days;
- 15 million copies — in 25 days;
- 20 million copies — in two months.
According to estimates by the analytical service Gamalytic, to date, Meccha Chameleon has earned $66.2 million, becoming one of the top-grossing new releases of 2026 on Steam. This is particularly noteworthy considering it was developed by just two Japanese developers — lemorion_1224 and Haganeiro.
