As early as next Tuesday, Electronic Arts (EA) may officially come under the wing of an investor consortium.

EA Sports FC 27

In a document for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company reported that it has received all the necessary clearances from antitrust regulators for the sale. Now, it only needs to settle a few formalities, and this chapter can be concluded.

Let's recall that after the completion of the deal, EA will be almost entirely owned by the Saudi Arabian Sovereign Fund, which will control 93.4% of the company. Another 5.5% of EA will go to Silver Lake, and the remaining 1.1% of EA will be held by Affinity Partners.
