It took exactly one year for the Chinese souls-like game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers to reach this milestone: its release took place on July 24, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.

The 5 million includes all players of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers — both buyers and Game Pass with PlayStation Plus subscribers. The exact number of players who purchased the game is not specified. However, earlier reports indicate that as of March 31, 2026, sales of Wuchang: Fallen Feathers exceeded 1 million copies.
“Thank you to everyone who played Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, supported us, shared information about the game, and believed in it. Reaching such an incredible milestone was only possible thanks to the amazing community,” wrote studio Leenzee and publisher 505 Games on social media.
Let us recall that in April 2026, the rights to Wuchang: Fallen Feathers were fully purchased by Digital Bros, owner of 505 Games. The company paid 4 million euros for them. Since then, all revenue from the game's sales goes to them, whereas Leenzee lost the opportunity to receive royalties.
