Delphi Interactive's approach focused on engaging fans has captured significant attention from major intellectual properties after their successful ventures with James Bond and FIFA

Delphi Interactive has garnered attention from top brands following its achievements with FIFA World Cup: Launch Edition and the 007 First Light games, as stated by CEO Casper Daugaard.

At The Paley Center for Media, Daugaard revealed to Game File that there have been meaningful discussions with globally renowned brands who are interested in their gaming approach.

Their strategy revolves around creating experiences for enthusiasts instead of targeting specific gamer groups focused on certain intellectual properties. This methodology was evident in their work on First Light, where they collaborated with IO Interactive to obtain the necessary licenses.

Daugaard explained, "We wanted to develop this James Bond game for fans of the franchise, incorporating elements like driving, social stealth, and MI6 missions for an engaging interaction. It’s about providing one of the most immersive brand experiences possible."

Delphi's method was similarly applied to FIFA in partnership with Netflix, aiming to appeal to a broader audience including football enthusiasts beyond traditional EA FIFA players. "[Netflix] recognized the potential, understanding our limited timeline but acknowledging our desire to produce a game that's accessible to anyone," Daugaard noted.

The game, produced by Refactor Games and launched by Delphi, was the initial FIFA installment following the 2022 split from EA Sports, making its debut shortly before FIFA Heroes.

Daugaard, in a GamesIndustry.biz interview earlier this year, remarked on Delphi's mission to "license, finance, develop, and distribute games revolving around the world's most noteworthy IP."

Company president Andy Kleinman confirmed this vision to Game File, expressing a desire to bridge the gap between large publishers and beloved entertainment or sport brands. Kleinman articulated, "We identified substantial brands with devoted followings. The need wasn't being met. We sought to fulfill that gap, to create what doesn’t yet exist."
