"Clair Obscur: Expedition 33" has been awarded Best Game at the 2026 Develop:Star Awards
Last night's Develop:Star Awards 2026 saw significant wins for the game "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33," which clinched awards in three categories.
Recognized for its excellence, Sandfall Interactive's game was honored with the awards for Best Game, Best Narrative, and Best Audio.
Awarded as the Best Studio, Frontier Developments was celebrated following the release of Jurassic World Evolution 3. The prize for Best Original IP went to Landfall and Aggro Crab for their game, Peak.
These developers also shared the accolade for Best Small Studio.
Sony Interactive Entertainment took home the Publishing Star award, while Ghost of Yōtei, by Sucker Punch Productions, won for Best Visual Art.
No Man's Sky received the first-ever Best Ongoing Game award, and FuturLab's PowerWash Simulator was distinguished as Best Mobile Game.
The prestigious Develop:Star Award was granted to Ustwo Games, known for Monument Valley 3.
Andy Lane, managing director of Tandem Events, expressed gratitude to the attendees, saying, "Thank you to everyone who joined us for The Develop:Star Awards last night and congratulations to all the winners and those shortlisted."
He added, "It was a wonderful evening spent celebrating the very best of the amazing work released over the past year, and the amazing people behind that work. Thank you to our sponsors, everyone who voted, and all those who made the night possible, it was an evening to remember."
