In 2025, residents of Poland spent over 1.2 billion euros on games
The Polish Gaming Association recently released a report detailing the statistics of the country's video game market over the past year. We have highlighted the key information from it.
Red Dead Redemption 2
- Half of Poland's population aged 6 to 75 are gamers. By the end of 2025, 15.9 million people in this age group were playing video games.
- Last year, Poles spent a total of €1.21 billion on video games. The majority of the expenditure was on mobile, totaling €545 million. This was followed by console games (€272 million), PC games (€239 million), subscriptions to individual games like World of Warcraft and services such as Ubisoft+ and EA Play (€157 million), and smart device games (€3 million).
- Purchases of physical game copies in Poland amounted to only €79 million.
- The highest-grossing mobile game in Poland for 2025 was Coin Master. Red Dead Redemption 2 led PC sales, while EA Sports FC 26 was the top seller on consoles.
- Half of all PlayStation console owners had a PlayStation Plus subscription last year. Meanwhile, 45% of Xbox owners subscribed to Game Pass, and 34% of Switch owners used Nintendo Switch Online.
- On average, in 2025 Polish gamers spent 8 hours and 38 minutes per week playing games.
- The vast majority of Polish gamers (78%) preferred single-player games. Nonetheless, 37% played multiplayer and cooperative projects at least occasionally.
- Steam was the most popular PC store in Poland. In 2025, 47% of Polish gamers had an account there. The top three also included the Epic Games Store (29%) and the EA App (19%).
