Room 8 Group has announced the appointment of Juanita Draude as their new Chief Executive Officer.

Draude takes over from Anna Kozlova, who stepped down last month after a seven-year tenure.

With over two decades of expertise in the fields of media, technology, and entertainment, Draude has held significant roles at Monks, Publicis Groupe, the NBA, and NBC Universal.

According to Draude, "This role comes at a pivotal time for Room 8 Group and the broader industry."

She emphasized the growing complexity of game development today, highlighting the need for integrated, technology-focused partnerships that support the entire production lifecycle.

Her background in media and advertising, she stated, underscores the significance of forming lasting partnerships centered on excellent audience experiences, which remains a priority for Room 8 Group.

Julien Proux, the company's chief content officer, remarked: "Juanita's leadership is in perfect harmony with the strategic transformation Room 8 has been pursuing. We are moving toward a more integrated and tech-savvy development entity."

This renewed focus on organization and infrastructure allows Room 8 Group to transition from conventional service models to connected production environments, leveraging a mix of creative, technical, and operational skills.

Earlier this year, Room 8 enhanced its leadership as it expanded its capabilities in technology and game development.

Guillaume Carmona moved up from VP of productions to VP of game development after 14 years with Ubisoft, including his tenure as the studio director at Ubisoft Montpellier.

Additionally, Yann Le Tensorer was appointed VP of technology, contributing two decades of experience from his time at Ubisoft.

Furthermore, Room 8 Group is set to unify its Solid Bash and Dragons Lake brands under its main corporate identity.
