Over a year and a half, 6 million people played the Silent Hill 2 remake
Konami reported that the game reached this milestone on April 24, 2026.

Note that 6 million people represent the entire audience of the Silent Hill 2 remake. This figure includes both those who purchased the title and PlayStation Plus subscribers. The actual sales of the game should be lower.
Previously, Konami reported that as of January 31, 2026, the audience of the Silent Hill 2 remake exceeded 5 million people. Therefore, it took the company just under three months to attract another million gamers.
The Silent Hill 2 remake was released on October 8, 2024. The game is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
