Today, April 24th, marks the one-year anniversary of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. To celebrate the game's birthday, its creators at Sandfall Interactive announced new sales data.

The distribution of the 8 million copies sold across platforms has not been disclosed. It's noteworthy that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is included in the Game Pass subscription, which means even more people have had the opportunity to experience it.
Here are the previous sales milestones of the game:
- 500,000 copies — April 25, 2025;
- 1 million copies — April 27, 2025;
- 2 million copies — May 6, 2025;
- 3.3 million copies — May 27, 2025;
- 5 million copies — October 8, 2025.
Additionally, to commemorate the occasion, Sandfall Interactive has released a small update for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The update fixed several bugs and added new hairstyles for the characters.
