The organizers of the 2026 Nordic Game event have unveiled the slate of speakers for the Masterclass Friday program this year.

Curated by the mentor group Mighty Diamonds, this program offers comprehensive workshops and sessions led by specialists across four core game development disciplines: design, art, business, and storytelling.

Notable speakers featured this year include Christoffer Bodegård, founder of Sudden Snail; Chris Brettman, who contributed as a level designer for Helldivers 2; Daniel Perez, an expert in studio art direction; William Blood, a senior economy and progression designer with Starbreeze; Lauren Stone, experienced former narrative director from Ubisoft; Patrick Rose, a consultant for product strategy and design; and Johan Lundqvist, a veteran senior concept artist.

"The inaugural Masterclass Friday event last year was met with high praise, and we've incorporated feedback to enhance this year's experience," stated Jacob Riis, program director for Nordic Game. "We extend our gratitude to Mighty Diamonds for their continued collaboration."

Attendees with a Nordic Game 2026 Spring pass have complementary access to the Masterclass Friday, although there is also an option for a pass valid for just Friday.

Recently, Nordic Game also revealed additional speakers for the main program, such as Christopfer Sundberg, CEO of Liquid Swords, and a panel on voice acting featuring David Bateson of Hitman fame and Magnus Bruun from Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Call of Duty. The entire list of speakers can be viewed here.

The Nordic Game 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 26 to May 29 at the Slagthuset venue in Malmö, Sweden.
