Among the contenders for Game of the Year are six noteworthy games: Supergiant Games' Hades 2, Ball x Pit, Blue Prince, Ghost of Yōtei, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and South of Midnight.

Both Hades 2 and Silksong appear in the lineup for the Gayming Magazine Fan Favorite Award, alongside titles like Date Everything, Dead by Daylight: Steady Pulse, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.

Date Everything is also recognized in the LGBTQ+ Indie Game category, competing with Monster Prom 4: Monster Con, Quantum Witch, Tales of Seikyu, The Beekeepers Picnic, and Spirit Swap.

This May, winners for categories such as the LGBTQ+ Streaming Rising Star Class of 2026, LGBTQ+ Content Creator Superstar Award, and the Gayming Icon Award will be unveiled.

New this year, the Gayming Awards Creator Honours have been introduced to honor LGBTQ+ gaming content creators at all levels.

The Gayming Awards 2026 will be streamed on June 8 on WOW Presents Plus, coinciding with the global celebrations on World of Wonder's platform.
