The audience for the Silent Hill 2 remake has surpassed 5 million people

In calculating the audience, Konami considered both players who purchased the Silent Hill 2 remake and PlayStation Plus users, as the title was included in the subscription catalog in October 2025.
How much of this figure is made up specifically of remake sales is not specified. It is known that a week before its inclusion in the subscription, the number of copies sold exceeded 2.5 million. Since then, the number is expected to have increased.
Recall that the remake of Silent Hill 2 was released on October 8, 2024. Initially, the game was available only on PC and PlayStation 5, but by the end of November 2025, it also reached Xbox Series consoles.
