NCsoft has announced its intention to purchase a 70% participation in the Berlin-based mobile gaming company JustPlay for a total cost of $202 million. The acquisition is planned to be finalized by April 30, 2026, as part of NCsoft's strategy to broaden its reach in the mobile gaming industry.

Since its inception in 2020, JustPlay has been involved in over 40 mobile games, primarily generating revenue from North American markets, which makes up 70% of its income. The company was created by former executives from AppLovin.

Byungmoo Park, co-CEO of NCsoft, highlighted JustPlay's significant growth trajectory, with an anticipated revenue boost of 88% within 2026. Park stated, "Through this acquisition, we will establish a vital foundation for our mobile casual gaming ambitions worldwide and aim to enhance collaboration with our studios in Korea and other regions."

In recent business movements, NCsoft also ventured into other markets by investing substantially in the Singapore-based mobile company Indygo, valued at $103.8 million, as documented in a previous report. The company further expanded its portfolio by acquiring Vietnam's Lihuhu and the Korean mobile gaming firm Springcomes.

In August 2025, NCsoft launched a new division dedicated to casual games, managed by Anel Ceman, known for his experience with Tripledot and Outfit7.
