Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile servers are set to be decommissioned in April 2026
On April 17, 2026, Activision plans to terminate the servers for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.
The mobile game was taken down from the iOS and Android app platforms last May because it didn't live up to the company's expectations.
Though Activision lauded the effort to adapt Call of Duty: Warzone for mobile devices, the game didn’t capture the mobile-first audience in the same way it did with users on PC and consoles, as stated in a blog entry by the publisher.
Back then, while the servers stayed operational, no new updates or additional content were introduced. Also, social interactions and in-app purchases ceased from that point.
When the servers are deactivated in April, players using guest accounts will lose access to Warzone Mobile. However, accounts linked with Activision will still be usable on Activision's other platforms and games requiring login credentials.
Debuting in March 2024, Warzone Mobile achieved $1.4 million in consumer spending within merely four days of its launch, according to estimates by AppMagic.
