The second consecutive record-breaking year and a sharp increase in revenue from Stellar Blade — key highlights from the Shift Up report

The South Korean studio Shift Up reported its results for the year 2025. It was the best year in its history, surpassing the previous record set in 2024 across all key metrics.

Stellar Blade

  • Shift Up's annual revenue reached 294.2 billion won ($204.8 million), an increase of 31.3% compared to 2024.
  • The main contributor was Goddess of Victory: Nikke. It alone earned 166.8 billion won ($116.1 million), marking a 10.1% growth.
  • Stellar Blade generated an additional 115.8 billion won ($80.6 million) for the studio. According to Shift Up, royalties from the game's sales were 70.2% higher than the previous year. This significant growth is likely due to the release of Stellar Blade on PC in June 2025—prior to this, the game was only available on PlayStation 5. Currently, Shift Up is considering releasing Stellar Blade on additional platforms, but the report does not specify which ones.
  • Shift Up's net profit increased by 29.2% to 191.2 billion won ($133.1 million), and operating profit rose by 18.6% to 181.1 billion won ($126 million).
  • Shift Up continues to actively work on new games. They are developing a sequel to Stellar Blade and a game under the codename Project Spirits. The studio promises to provide more details on both throughout the year.
