The game's achievement was announced by Embracer Group in a financial report.

The company noted that in recent months, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been selling better than usual. Sales surged following the release of the final expansion called Mysteria Ecclesiae in mid-November, which took the main character to the Sedlec Monastery. Embracer Group added that the DLC launched successfully, although it chose not to disclose its metrics.
Here are the current key sales milestones for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II:
- 1 million copies — February 5, 2025, i.e., within a day of the game's release;
- 2 million copies — February 17, 2025;
- 3 million copies — May 4, 2025;
- 4 million copies — November 12, 2025;
- 5 million copies — February 12, 2026.
