Remedy has selected Jean-Charles Gaudechon, previously a Vice President at Electronic Arts, as its new Chief Executive Officer
Remedy Entertainment, known for developing Alan Wake, has appointed Jean-Charles "JC" Gaudechon as their new Chief Executive Officer. Gaudechon is set to take on this new role on March 1, stepping in for Markus Mäki, a co-founder who has been serving as interim CEO.
Gaudechon brings with him over two decades of experience in the gaming and digital entertainment sectors. He has held senior roles at Electronic Arts (EA) and CCP Games and was most recently the Senior Vice President and Group General Manager at the sports application Sleeper. Henri Österlund, Remedy’s board chairman, stated, "I am pleased to welcome Jean-Charles (JC) Gaudechon to Remedy to lead us toward profitable growth. His track record in expanding gaming franchises and managing international studios makes him an ideal fit for our current business phase." Österlund added that under Gaudechon's leadership, Remedy aims to enhance growth, increase independence through self-publishing, and deliver sustained value to various stakeholders.

Gaudechon also shared his plans to relocate to Finland with his family, expressing eagerness to work hands-on with the studio's team.
