Roblox reported that a performance featuring Bruno Mars's latest single, hosted in the user-created Steal A Brainrot mode, drew the attention of 12.8 million users simultaneously. This event was highlighted as setting a new record on the platform for the most-viewed virtual concert by a single artist. Attendees were also given unique "Brunito Marsito" collectibles, amassing a total of 5,428,644 items.

Mars performed his new track “I Just Might” and previous hit “Locked Out of Heaven” in the game, albeit with standard Roblox design and animation rather than advanced motion capture. This is a contrast to Lil Nas X's 2020 performance on the platform, which employed custom animation techniques.

The event reached 10 million viewers across 14 countries via livestream, generating 53 million social media video views. However, this figure is under Fortnite's record of 14.3 million concurrent users set during the Eminem, Snoop, Juice Wrld, and Ice Spice music event in 2024.

In 2023, Mars participated in the Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game by Harmonix, allowing players to experience licensed music similar to Rock Band. This festival has seen performances from contemporary artists like Billie Eilish, The Weeknd, and Sabrina Carpenter.

Roblox also secured a partnership with Sony Music to showcase the label's artists on the platform. Most recently, Roblox instituted mandatory age verification for users engaging in in-game chats, a step taken in response to ongoing criticisms about children's exposure to potentially harmful content.
