The second season of Fallout ranks as the sixth most-watched series on Prime Video.
Four weeks after its debut, the second season of Fallout has become the sixth most popular show ever on Prime Video.
According to Deadline, the series is only surpassed by the two installments of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, the second and third seasons of Reacher, and Fallout's own first season.
Within the scope of returning seasons, the series holds the fourth position behind Reacher and Lord of the Rings.
The new season of Fallout premiered on December 16, 2025, with episodes being released weekly, a shift from the 2024 release pattern of season one.
Though Amazon has yet to fully disclose the audience size for season 2, they revealed notable insights, such as a considerable international viewership from countries like the UK, Germany, and Brazil.
Peter Friedlander, Amazon MGM Studios' head of global TV, expressed excitement about the global reception of the series, noting its improved rating on Rotten Tomatoes—97% for season two compared to the first season’s 93%.
"A significant part of the show's audience is from outside the United States, and we're looking forward to reaching even more viewers in upcoming weeks as we release further episodes," concluded Friedlander.
The show's success has also significantly boosted the engagement and sales of the original video game franchise on all platforms.
The Steam player count for Fallout has risen, doubling from a typical 20,000 to over 40,000 players since the show started.
Amazon announced the renewal of Fallout for a third season in May, and approved a new reality show based on the franchise.
The reality series, Fallout Shelter, will feature ten episodes and will be a collaborative effort between Kilter Films, the series producer, and Studio Lambert, known for The Traitors and Squid Game: The Challenge.
