Formosa Interactive has changed its name to Arrival
Formosa Interactive, a subsidiary of Streamland Media focused on gaming, has rebranded itself as Arrival.
The newly named Arrival will be led by Paul Lipson, who ascends to the presidency after nearly a decade at Formosa. Initially joining as VP of creative services, Lipson later served as SVP interactive worldwide. His prior experience includes a four-year tenure as senior audio director at Microsoft.
Arrival is set to continue offering services in creative production, co-development, and comprehensive audio solutions for gaming industry clients. The company boasts cutting-edge facilities located in Los Angeles, Seattle, and London, as well as other strategic development centers.
Lipson expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "I am incredibly honored to lead our talented global team as we embark on this new chapter," emphasizing that the new name reflects a deeper engagement with their partners, aiming to push boundaries in gaming experiences.
CEO of Streamland Media, Bill Romeo, described the launch of Arrival as a significant investment in the evolving world of interactive storytelling. He noted the industry's need for a specialized partner capable of handling the complexities of modern game development. With Arrival, Streamland Media aims to establish a dedicated entity deeply embedded in the gaming industry.
Romeo commended Lipson's vision and leadership, which have been key in enhancing their interactive capabilities, and expressed confidence in Lipson's ability to propel Arrival to new heights.
