Bandai Namco sold the developers of Tropico 6 and Park Beyond
A private investor specializing in video games has become the new owner of Limbic Entertainment studio, although they remain unnamed.

As Bandai Namco explained, selling the studio is part of their business strategy. Recently, the Japanese company has been focusing primarily on segments "in which they provide the highest quality content." Apparently, the games by Limbic Entertainment do not fall into these segments.
The terms of the deal, as well as its amount, are not disclosed. However, it is known that Limbic Entertainment will retain its name and brand identity, and its leaders will remain at the team's helm. The studio will also continue to develop various construction and management simulators.
Limbic Entertainment is a German studio whose portfolio includes games like Might & Magic Heroes VII, Memories of Mars, Tropico 6, and Park Beyond. In 2021, Bandai Namco acquired a minority stake in the studio, and in 2022, they obtained a controlling stake.
