EA Sports FC has announced a long-term collaboration with several European football clubs

EA Sports FC and the European Football Clubs organization (EFC) have formed a long-term partnership aimed at enhancing the "financial strength" and exposure of EFC teams.

As part of this collaboration, three clubs will receive €100,000 each to fund community-driven initiatives. The recipients will be announced during the EFC Club Connect event in Lisbon, scheduled for next March.

This agreement opens opportunities for more European clubs to be featured in EA Sports FC 27, with participation available to all EFC members, irrespective of their size or gender.

In addition to expanding in-game offerings and introducing engagement tools, both organizations will deliver co-branded digital content to the clubs.

EFC CEO Charlie Marshall commented, "Our partnership with EA Sports FC aims to modernize and make club football at every level more inclusive and accessible, allowing clubs of all sizes to grow, engage fans, and gain recognition for their community contributions."

He further mentioned, "This EFC project will directly provide new revenue sources for clubs, ranging from community grants to digital activations and in-game licensing agreements."

"We are joining efforts to advance the sport, merging football's traditions with the prospects of a digital age," Marshall added.

From EA Sports FC, spokesperson James Salmon stated, "Our collaboration with EFC is about honoring authenticity and creating new avenues for clubs of every size to connect meaningfully with fans."

"By uniting around community impact and innovation, we are advancing the sport both on and off the field, enabling clubs to expand their reach, strengthen their fan relationships, and encourage the next generation's passion for football," Salmon concluded.
