Arc Games has transitioned to functioning as an independent publishing entity.

Following a management buyout from Embracer Group funded by XD Inc., the studio is set to continue its quest to provide top-tier, innovative gaming experiences on a global scale.

The company's operational structure will remain the same, with Yoon Im continuing as the Chief Executive Officer alongside the entire existing team.

With its newly gained autonomy, Arc Games is focusing on an exciting line-up of undisclosed projects, new collaborations with AA and indie developers, as well as ongoing support for its current lineup of games.

Yoon Im, CEO of Arc Games, stated, "This is a significant turning point for our company. Our time with Embracer Group has been invaluable, leaving a lasting impact since we started over 15 years ago."

"The experiences have defined our identity. Now, as an independent publisher, we have the freedom to pursue our vision of working with talented developers worldwide and launching exceptional games. 2026 promises to be one of our most groundbreaking years yet, and we are thrilled about our future endeavors."

Recently, Embracer sold off Arc Games and Cryptic Studios. Arc Games is known for publishing live service titles like Star Trek Online, Neverwinter, and the Remnant series, as well as games like Torchlight and Hyper Light Breaker.
