The audience for Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has exceeded 25 million people

According to developers from Fatshark, the game’s audience grew significantly after a recent giveaway on Steam. From November 21 to 24, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 was available for free, and many gamers rushed to take advantage of the offer. In total, 5.9 million people claimed the action RPG over the four days.
This was not the first giveaway of Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Three years ago, Fatshark conducted a similar promotion, during which 10 million people claimed the game. Additionally, the developers have repeatedly organized free weekends, which also affected the audience size of Warhammer: Vermintide 2.
To surpass the milestone of 25 million players, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 took seven and a half years: it was released on March 8, 2018. The game is currently available on PC and consoles such as PlayStation and Xbox, including with PlayStation Plus and Game Pass subscriptions.
