Battlefield 6 has achieved significant commercial success since its release in October, becoming the top-selling game of 2025 in the United States and setting a new sales record for the Battlefield series.

According to Circana data, the game recorded the highest monthly dollar revenue for both physical and digital copies in the US in three years.

The sales figures for Battlefield 6 in October exceeded those of Battlefield 1 throughout its entire lifespan.

The success of Battlefield 6, along with mobile gaming and sales of Switch 2 hardware, contributed to a 3% increase in U.S. consumer spending, totaling $4.9 billion in October.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A was the second best-seller for October and stands as the top-selling physical game of 2025 year-to-date.

Ghost of Yōtei climbed to third place from its initial No. 4. It is currently the 10th best-selling game in the US and holds the No. 3 spot on PlayStation's year-to-date chart.

On mobile platforms, spending increased by 10% last month. Titles such as Gossip Harbour and Royal Kingdom rose to No. 8 and No. 7, respectively.

“Gossip Harbor's revenue in the US increased by 12% compared to September,” explained Sam Aune from Sensor Tower.

Although Clash Royale saw a slight monthly decline, its current performance remains four times better than at the year's start.

Elsewhere, video game content generated $4.3 billion, marking a 1% rise, and hardware sales surged by 36% to $351 million, largely due to Nintendo Switch 2 sales.

The Switch 2 reported sales of 328,000 units in October 2025, marking a 68% increase over the original Switch's debut.

ASUS PC Portable devices saw their sales increase by 4.8 times from the previous year after the launch of the Xbox ASUS ROG Ally, which surpassed expectations.
