Johannes Thimme, a seasoned professional from Ubisoft, has launched Quality Time Studio, situated in Lower Saxony, Germany.

The studio's agenda includes developing a new game prototype and providing consulting, mentoring, and coaching to new developers and indie game makers.

The offered services encompass guidance on product vision, strategies for publishing and investment, production methodologies, and the formation of business frameworks. Additionally, the studio supports cross-border and multicultural partnerships.

Establishing Quality Time Studio aims to boost the gaming sector within the Lower Saxony area.

Thimme noted, "Many veteran developers express interest in residing outside major urban centers, which presents a nice potential for this area."

He added, "Unlike some German states, Lower Saxony's game industry is still emerging. With Quality Time Studio, I hope to contribute to building another creative center here, catering to both seasoned developers and upcoming talent."

With 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Thimme spent 13 years at Ubisoft.

His roles at Ubisoft included lead producer, codev director, site director of online services, and part of the executive management at Ubisoft Düsseldorf.

Throughout his time at Ubisoft, he contributed to prominent series like Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Star Wars, Avatar, and Rainbow Six.

He played a critical role in establishing the German branch of Ubisoft's co-development unit and managed the team behind Ubisoft Connect's online services in Germany.
