Swedish analysts estimated the production budget of Bloodlines 2 at $62.8 million

The development of Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 cost 600 million Swedish krona (62.8 million dollars), according to analysts from the Swedish bank Swedbank. This figure excludes marketing expenses; with them, the budget would be even higher.

Neither the developers from The Chinese Room nor the publisher Paradox Interactive have disclosed the official budget. Thus, the accuracy of Swedbank's estimate remains unknown.

It is worth noting that Swedbank, via its subsidiary Swedbank Robur, is a shareholder of Paradox Interactive, owning 3.4% of the company shares. Theoretically, this might give them some insight into the development costs of Bloodlines 2, but the bank emphasizes in its analysis that these are merely estimates and not insider information.

According to VG Insights, the Steam version of Bloodlines 2 has earned 13 million dollars to date. The service Gamalytic estimates its revenue more conservatively at no more than 8.4 million dollars. Additional revenue has been generated from sales on Epic Games Store, GOG, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, but it is too early to confirm if the game has recouped its costs.

As a reminder, Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 was released on October 21 after years of development hell. The game received mixed reviews from gamers and critics, currently holding a "Mixed" rating of 56% on Steam.
