Developers in the UK can now submit their applications for the 2026 Games London Accelerator, a significant part of the London Games Festival.

This initiative will be conducted from January to March 2026, offering UK-based developers a combination of virtual and physical sessions. The aim is to assist them in expanding their intellectual property while simultaneously growing their game development teams. Expert guidance will be provided by Christian Fonnesbech and Jennifer Schneidereit throughout these sessions.

Additionally, the chosen five studios will receive complimentary entry to the Games Finance Market on April 14 and 15, along with a free exhibition slot at New Game Plus on April 16 and 17, coinciding with the London Games Festival.

"We started the Games London Pitch Bootcamp in 2017, paving the path for a lasting initiative in UK and London gaming talent development," remarked Michael French, head of Games London. This effort eventually evolved into the Games London Accelerator and Game Changer programs.

French added, "It's encouraging to witness about ten similar programs emerge across the nation and regions. For our upcoming Accelerator, our focus is sharply on developing world-class IP, a critical hurdle for UK gaming enterprises."

Interested applicants must submit their applications by December 8. More details can be found here.
