The remake of Silent Hill 2 sold 2.5 million copies
The game reached this milestone just over a year after its release: it launched on October 8, 2024, for PC and PlayStation 5.

It should be noted that the first million copies of the Silent Hill 2 Remake were sold within three days of the game's debut, and after three and a half months, it hit the mark of 2 million copies. Then, sales noticeably slowed down.
However, soon the game's audience will have the chance to grow a bit more. Next Tuesday, October 21, the Silent Hill 2 Remake will be included in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription services and will become "free" for users of the service.
Simultaneously, Konami announced that the total sales of the Silent Hill series games have surpassed 10 million copies. However, it did not share the latest data on other parts of the franchise.
