Owlcat Games establishes an educational resource center for game developers

Owlcat Games has introduced a complimentary educational hub for game developers, consisting of more than 350 resources like software tips, tutorials, and online classes.
This initiative, called GameDev Learning Drop, is a collaborative effort with partners such as Fireshine Games, 11 Bit Studios, Gaijin Entertainment, and Midwest Games.
According to PC Gamer, Owlcat Games intends to enhance the GameDev Learning Drop by integrating content from other gaming companies.
"Developers and publishers can contribute by submitting materials, which are then reviewed and categorized to ensure high standards," noted Andrey Tsvetkov, the head of publishing at Owlcat Games.
Contributions go through a vetting process and are organized into an accessible resource for the game development community.
Submissions can be made through the GameDev Learning Drop website or sent to contact@owlcat.games.
Tsvetkov emphasized the importance of supporting open knowledge to enhance collaboration within the industry.
"Not all available materials are valuable, so having someone evaluate them helps ensure juniors receive practical resources," he commented.
Owlcat Games ventured into publishing last year, as reported by GamesIndustry.biz. They have since signed two RPG projects from Emotion Spark Studio and Another Angle Games.
In its role as a publisher, Owlcat Games offers new developers of RPGs comprehensive support, including funding, expert guidance, and various services.
