Lee Hutchinson, the founder of Double Eleven, is leaving his role as CEO. Kimberley Turner and Mark South will now take over as co-CEOs of the indie game studio.
This leadership change aligns with a "revised senior management structure" at the company, as Hutchinson transitions to a "broad strategic role" as the chairman of Pneuma Group, the parent company of Double Eleven.
Hutchinson expressed his pride in the accomplishments of the company and his confidence in Turner and South’s capability to guide Double Eleven in its continued success.
As the former CFO/commercial director and COO, Turner and South have been crucial in managing "day-to-day operations" at the studio and have contributed to "strategic initiatives" throughout the company.
In their new roles as co-CEOs, their aim is to "propel the studio's ambitious long-term growth plans."
Turner and South acknowledged Hutchinson's pivotal role in transforming Double Eleven from a fledgling independent studio into a globally recognized developer and publisher, stating they are honored to expand upon the foundation he laid.
They remarked this leadership transition is significant for their sustained expansion, emphasizing their commitment to being a trusted ally and stable support for esteemed games and developers, whether in full development, co-development, or publishing.
This growth is fueled by their dedication to supporting the talented individuals who drive the company forward.
