"Redemption Road" has postponed the release of "Kingmakers" indefinitely

The release of Redemption Road Games' Kingmakers, initially slated for launch on October 8, 2025, has been postponed indefinitely. The announcement was made on social media, with the developers explaining they require more time to refine the content to a standard that justifies its price.
The team emphasized their commitment to not compromising on the game's ambitious features, prioritizing completeness over hastening its release. "Our original aim has been to deliver an experience unlike any existing offering, in terms of depth, size, and player engagement," they stated.
The developers further remarked on their use of Unreal Engine 4, striving to maximize its potential while ensuring a consistent 60 frames per second for midrange computers without resorting to artificial enhancements. The team, primarily composed of engineers, aims to break new ground technologically.
The commitment to player satisfaction is strong, as they want everyone who invests in Kingmakers, regardless of their PC's capabilities, to feel it was a worthwhile purchase.
In August, it was disclosed that Kingmakers has already secured a film adaptation before its game release. The movie is set to be produced by the game's publisher, TinyBuild, in conjunction with Story Kitchen, aiming to craft a unique narrative and strengthen the intellectual property.
