An experienced team of gaming industry professionals has come together to establish a new publishing entity known as Midnighters in Australia. The organization is spearheaded by four directors: Zea Wolfe, formerly with Massive Monster and Die Gute Fabrik; Jair McBain from Land & Sea and Lune Interactive; Aaron Oak, who has worked with Zero Dimension and Funselektor; and Jacob Vincent, associated with Funselektor and Wymac Gaming Solutions.

Midnighters aims to leverage the team's expertise to offer enhanced support to independent developers, helping them to craft games with greater sustainability. Their offerings include assistance in project management, marketing, release management, public relations, business development, and community engagement.

The publisher provides an adaptable approach to partnerships, offering either comprehensive services or minimal involvement, alongside "upfront funding." Developers can also seek publishing support for a smaller portion of project royalties than typically expected.

"The conventional publishing model doesn't always cater to indie developers' specific needs," explained Wolfe, in an interview with Game Developer. Wolfe emphasized their commitment to a personalized strategy, benefiting from their own experience as creators, which seeks to empower developers to focus on their strengths.

Currently, Midnighters is collaborating with Alien Cat x Nomo Studio to aid in the development and publication of the game Momento, a charming room decorating simulator.

The company is open to receiving new project ideas and invites developers to submit proposals by filling out the form available here.
