Three gaming industry summits are set to take place at EGX during MCM London Comic Con this October

This year's EGX at MCM London Comic Con will host three significant summits within the gaming sector.
According to a press release from ReedPop on September 11, 2025, attendees can anticipate the comeback of the PopCultr Marketing Summit, along with a newly introduced Investment Summit and a Creator Summit at this year's event.
The Investment Summit, which is organized in conjunction with Game Republic, provides independent developers with insights into obtaining investments for their projects.
Highlights include a keynote from Peter Moore, formerly of EA Sports, and Chris Dring, who is the current editor-in-chief of The Games Business and a former head at GamesIndustry.biz.
An investment-focused panel will be managed by Lewis Packwood, features editor at GamesIndustry.biz. This discussion will feature Cassia Curran from Curran Games Agency, Lirui Dring of Transcend Fund, Simon Byron of Yogcast Games, and Meg Clarke from Team 17.
Additional roundtables and panels are expected to be announced soon for the Investment Summit.
The Creator Summit is aimed at providing creators with strategies to enhance their careers and expand their personal brands, as well as collaborations with businesses.
This summit will include panels conducted by industry experts focusing on various subjects, including event planning, the UK's Online Safety Act (OSA), and brand partnerships.
Returning for its third year, Experience12’s PopCultr Marketing Summit will bring marketing professionals together for a single day. This session is designed to guide participants on the evolving dynamics of IP expansion, narrative crafting, and engaging with audiences amid a shifting landscape. Pre-registration can be done here.
These summits, available at no cost for those with an MCM London Comic Con industry or creator pass, are scheduled for October 24, 2025, at Excel London.
