The Unicon & Game Expo Minsk 2025 convention will take place in Minsk from September 12-14

At the end of the week, the capital of Belarus will host the Unicon & Game Expo Minsk 2025 — a large-scale convention dedicated to video games, board games, comics, and series.

The event will take place at the Football Manege, located at 20/2 Pobediteli Avenue. It is near the banks of the Svisloch River.

Unicon & Game Expo Minsk 2025 will last for three days, from Friday to Sunday. Convention guests will be able to visit a large exhibition, featuring 36 board and video games from indie teams in a special zone, talks with comic book authors, booths dedicated to gaming and other franchises, photo areas, and much more. There will also be a cosplay contest and various workshops.

The Unicon & Game Expo Minsk 2025 will not be without lectures either. Let's highlight some of the presentations.

• Narrative game designer Kristina Buinevich from Replaced will discuss how expectations from narrative design align with reality.
• Maxim Cherkasov, the author of Song of Slavs, will talk about the pitfalls indie developers encounter.
• Andrey Popovich, the lead game designer of Cyber Temple studio, will discuss the stages of game development.
• Geneticist Dr. Alexander Kozlovsky will give a talk on "DNA of Heroes: How Genetics Inspires Creators of Fantastic Characters in Animated Films and Video Games".
• Employees of FUNGI studio will address several different topics. In particular, they will discuss game monetization, the specifics of 2D animators' work, combating burnout among artists, and the use of neural networks in design.
