The animated adaptation of Tomb Raider by Netflix is reportedly concluding after its second season

The animated series "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" on Netflix appears to be nearing its conclusion.

As per a report by Variety, the show's upcoming second season, which will be released on December 11, 2025, might be its final installment.

Initially revealed in 2021, "Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft" made its debut on October 10, 2024, before a second season was approved.

Meanwhile, another adaptation of the famous video game series is in the works.

Production for Amazon’s live-action adaptation of Tomb Raider is set to start on January 19, 2026, with Sophie Turner cast as Lara Croft, as announced recently.

Approved in May 2024, the live-action series includes Phoebe Waller-Bridge in production, with Chad Hodge and Jonathan van Tulleken also involved.
