On September 4, Xsolla and Futura Digital will host a webinar about the implications of the dispute between Epic Games and Apple for the mobile market
The companies Xsolla and Futura Digital have announced a free webinar for mobile developers and publishers. The discussion will focus on the impact of the Epic Games conflict with Apple on working with iOS applications. The situation will be examined from two perspectives—legal and business.
Let's recall, the dispute between Epic Games and Apple began five years ago and is still ongoing. Nevertheless, it has already borne "fruits." Among these are the relaxation of restrictions for developers on iOS in the USA and the European Union. Moreover, Apple’s activities have drawn the attention of regulators in numerous countries, from Australia to Japan.
The webinar, titled "Epic vs. Apple: How the Dispute Changes the Game for Developers and Publishers?" will take place on September 4th at 4:00 PM GST. This is one hour ahead of Moscow time.
The webinar program includes:
- An account of how the dispute evolved, examining key stages of the confrontation in the USA, Europe, and other regions;
- An analysis of how the situation has affected payment solutions, the work with developers, and insight into reducing fees and increasing LTV through third-party payments.
The speakers will be:
- Alina Davletshina, Head of Practice at Futura Digital;
- Alexandra Kurdyumova, Co-founder and Senior Partner at Futura Digital;
- Pavel Savkin, Product Director (Monetization) at Xsolla.
