Static Dread: The Lighthouse is a lighthouse keeper simulator developed by the studio solarsuit.games, inspired by the stories of Howard Lovecraft. The game was released on Steam on August 6, 2025, and quickly recouped its costs.

Kirill Oreshkin, co-founder of the publisher Polden Publishing, reported on his Telegram channel that by August 21, Static Dread had achieved $167,900 in gross revenue—this is before deducting Steam's commission, taxes, and refunds. After accounting for taxes and refunds, the game's earnings amount to $143,500. Oreshkin previously stated that the production budget for Static Dread was approximately $70,000, making the game's release a success.
Static Dread sold over 20,000 copies. Its main markets were the USA (29%), Russia (22%), and Kazakhstan (8%).

Oreshkin predicts that in an optimistic scenario, Static Dread will sell between 80,000 and 100,000 copies within a year, and within five years, sales could reach 200,000 to 300,000 copies.
